Be on the lookout for Trick or treat times in your area. Most Communities historically will schedule between 5-7 and 6-8


Gauley Bridge – October 27 – 5-pm – 7pm – Truck or Treat at Johnson’s Square – costume contest, concessions, DJ. Trick or Treat 6-8 pm


Ansted – Tuesday, October 30 – 6-8pm

Hinton –  October 30 – 6-8 pm

Oceana –October 30 – 5:30-7:30 pm

Richwood – October 30 –  6-8 – Trunk or Treat in City Hall parking lot also the 30th at 6-8 pm

Trunk or Treat at the Ballfield: Linda K. Epling Stadium.  3 PM – 7 PM

It’ll be fun and games for kids at Kroger’s pre-Halloween party on October 29.

Children 10 and under are invited to come to any of the 107 Kroger stores in the Mid-Atlantic Division (Virginia; West Virginia; Johnson City and Kingsport, TN; Ashland, KY; Belpre and Proctorville, OH) for a free party from 6 to 8 p.m.

Children will receive a free Halloween bag and instruction card when they enter the store.  They will go to various stations for activities, including tic-tac-toe, coloring, decorating a pie pumpkin, decorating a Halloween cookie and bowling.

As children finish each station, they will be rewarded with candy.
