NEW YORK MAN WINS SECOND AIR GUITAR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE: The world’s best air guitar player still lives in the U.S. Matt “Aristotle” Burns traveled to Finland to successfully defend his title at the 22nd Air Guitar World Championships. This is Burns’ second title in competitive air guitar, which is equal parts dance and musical instrument pantomime. This time he had to strum along to the Me First and the Gimmie Gimmes’ cover of “I Will Survive.” Burns’ has won three U.S. championships and has three world championship second-place finishes as well.
